2025/26 Season Classes

    Mini Gemstones

    Our Mini Gemstone program follows the award-winning “Twinkle Star Dance” curriculum. Dancers learn fundamentals for ballet, tap and jazz/creative movement. The purpose of these classes is to inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers will also learn basic steps and terminology in all three styles. Fun games and story driven combos will encourage dancers to develop a love for dance at a young age!

    Our Mini Gemstone program is open to dancers ages 2-5 (dancers must be age 2 by September 1st 2025).

    These are performing classes for both our Winter & Spring Recitals.

    Ballet

    Students in our ballet program will refine classical ballet techniques with a prioritized focus on proper alignment and strength. Dancers will learn correct terminology and study classical ballets such as "Giselle" and "Swan Lake" to encourage a love and appreciation for ballet. Exercises focus on classical technique, proper turnout and alignment, coordination, and quality of movement.

    All of our ballet classes participate in our studio production of “The Nutcracker” and our Spring Recital.

    Placement in our Ballet program is done through audition or a trial class.

    Jazz

    Our Jazz program focuses on the proper execution of technical jazz elements such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythms and movement quality. Our jazz program also emphasizes the proper execution of choreography in varying styles.

    Placement in our Jazz program is done through audition or a trial class.

    This is a performing class for both our Winter & Spring Recitals.

    Contemporary

    Contemporary dance classes will be available to ages 5-18. Through our Contemporary dance program dancers will improve athleticism and floor work. Contemporary is a great class to improve maturity of movement as well as smoothing out transitions in across the floor steps and inversions.

    Placement is done through an audition or trial class.

    This is a performing class for both our Winter & Spring Recitals.

    Competition Teams

    Our Company & Emeralds programs give dedicated students additional opportunities to improve their technique and artistry. Competition Team dancers have the opportunity to spend more hours in the studio, and are given more performance & recreational opportunities than our recreational students.

    Placement on Competition Teams is done through audition or a trial class.

    Company teams are open to dancers ages 5-18, and our Emeralds program is open to dancers ages 7-18. (Age cutoff is September 1st 2025).

    Tap

    Our Tap program introduces dancers to both broadway style, and street style tap dancing. Dancers will learn the correct terminology and body movement for both of these styles.

    Our tap classes help dancers develop proper rhythm, style and sound. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, gaining strength in the knee and ankles, and improving coordination.

    This is a performing class for both our Winter & Spring Recitals.

    Hip Hop

    In our Hip Hop program, dancers will be encouraged to step out of their comfort zone by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movement. This class will increase strength and stamina to encourage advancement in ability. Dancers will develop technical fundamentals for hip hop including, isolations, floor work, and style.

    This is a performing class for both our Winter & Spring Recitals.

    Stretching/Pilates

    In our Stretching/Pilates Elective, dancers will practice safe stretching and pilates with certified instructors. This class will promote healing of the heart, mind, and body while increasing dancers strength and flexibility.

  • Workout equipment including dumbbells, resistance bands, water bottle, smartphone, foam roller, and a yoga mat.

    Cross Training

    Cross training is a required class for our oldest company teams. In this class they will learn traditional weight training and conditioning, to help build proper strength aimed to help prevent injury.

  • Ballroom

    Ballroom

    Ballroom dance encompasses a variety of genres, characterized by elegant movements & precise footwork. This class will explore introductory styles in both Classical and Latin Ballroom.

    This is a performing class for both our Winter & Spring Recitals.

  • Dance Acro

    Dance Acro

    Acro dance is a fusion of acrobatics and dance, blending gymnastics elements with classical dance techniques. This class will emphasize strength, flexibility, and balance, creating visually stunning and athletic techniques.

    Adult Dance Classes

    Our studio offers adult dance classes at a beginner/intermediate level.

    Classes will range in genre including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary.

    These classes create a safe and supportive environment for adults who wish to experience dance for the first time, or regain and explore their love for dance. Classes are free to the community.

    Please wear clothes you are comfortable in, and can move freely in.

    Adult Classes occur during the school year only.
