Contemporary
Our Contemporary program focuses on the proper execution of dance transitions, floor work,
and developing complex textures and movement qualities.
Our Contemporary program will also focus on learning contemporary vocabulary and movement principles.
Placement in our Contemporary program is done through audition or a trial class.
Dress Code for all Contemporary Classes:
Fitted athletic top
Fitted or loose athletic shorts or pants (pants may be preferable for class days focused on floor-work)
Bare feet and Socks will be used regularly, also have a pair of socks in your dancers dance bag
Hair pulled back in ponytail or bun

Pre Contemporary/ Creative Movement
Pre Contemporary/ Creative Movement is a Mini Introductory course that focuses on coordination, strength and mobility, and terminology. This class teaches the basic fundamentals of “moving like a human”, improves alignment, and increases body awareness.
Dancers in this class will perform at our Winter & Spring Showcases.
Weekly Commitment: 1 hour
Weekly Schedule: Mondays 6:00-7:00
Monthly Tuition: $72
Additional Costs: Registration fee ($35), Winter Recital costume fee ($75), Spring Showcase Costume fee ($75), Winter & Spring Recital Performance fee (starting at $35, and increasing based on the number of pieces being performed).
Aligned Contemporary Company
Aligned Contemporary Co. is a Mini age beginning level course that builds on fundamentals. This class teaches the basic fundamentals of floor work, improves alignment, and increases body awareness. Dancers in this class will also have a greater focus on flexibility and mobility.
Dancers in this class will perform at our Winter & Spring Showcases.
Weekly Commitment: 1 hour
Weekly Schedule: Thursdays 4:00-5:00
Monthly Tuition: $72
Additional Costs: Registration fee ($35), Winter Recital costume fee ($75), Spring Showcase Costume fee ($75), Winter & Spring Recital Performance fee (starting at $35, and increasing based on the number of pieces being performed).
Rotation Contemporary Company
Rotation Contemporary Company is a Jr age beginning course focused on floor work, weighting shifting, and traveling. In this class dancers will gain greater maturity in their movement, improve their athleticism and flexibility, and access greater ranges of controlled motion.
Dancers in this class will perform at our Winter & Spring Showcases.
Weekly Commitment: 1 hour
Weekly Schedule: Thursdays 7:00-8:00

Texture Contemporary Company
Texture Contemporary Co. is a Jr age intermediate level course focused on floor work, weight shifting, and traveling. In this class dancers will gain greater maturity in their movement, improve their athleticism and flexibility, and access greater ranges of controlled motion. They will also learn to master shifts between extreme movement textures, while utilizing their advancing alignment and technique. They will also experience challenging contemporary choreography.
Placement in this class is done by audition or trial class only.
Dancers in this class will perform at our Winter & Spring Showcases.

Weekly Schedule: Thursdays 5:00-6:00

Vertical Contemporary Company
Vertical Contemporary Company is a Teen age intermediate/advanced level course focused on floor work, weight shifting, and traveling. In this class dancers will gain greater maturity in their movement, improve their athleticism and flexibility, and access greater ranges of controlled motion. They will also learn to master shifts between extreme movement textures, while utilizing their advancing alignment and technique. They will also experience challenging contemporary choreography.
